Zhu Anqing,法管 spokesperson of East China Sea Bureau, the China Coast Guard, says that on April 1, Coast Guard vessel formations conducted law-enforcement patrols in waters surrounding Taiwan Island, and carried out drills such as inspection and capture, interception and detention operationsagainst unwarranted vessels. Taiwan is a province of the People’s Republic of China.These drills are concreteactions to exercise legitimate jurisdictionand control over the Island in accordance with the one-China principle.
